Our Values

Our values are the anchors for our ministry.

1. God’s Word Taking Root and Bearing Fruit

We want to be people rooted and grounded in the living, active, and true Holy Scriptures. We believe that the Word of God is the only power able to accomplish our mission in our own lives and the lives of others.

2. We before Me

We place high value on community, team, and partnership around and for the gospel. Following Christ’s example of community and pairing in ministry, we want to constantly have our mission to fuel our community and our community to fuel our mission.

3. Invest to Invite and Invite to Invest

We believe that Christ ministered both by personally investing in relationships and by large, powerful events that drew in, trained, and encouraged His people. We value the coupling of incarnational ministry with annual catalytic events like our New Year’s Conference, Leadership Project, and Cross-Cultural Projects.

4. Go before Know

We long to be and remain people who walk by faith, not by sight. Having “assurance of things hoped for and conviction of things unseen” (Hebrews 11:1), we want to risk ourselves for God and His kingdom.

5. Production to Reproduction

We never want to be content with having produced people or ministries that just know God. Health leads to reproduction, and we long to see men, ministries, and whole movements of God that continue to reproduce more of the same.

What is Campus Outreach?

Campus Outreach Greenville is an inter-denominational ministry targeting college campuses in upper South Carolina and western North Carolina. Founded in 1994 under the supervision of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC, our mission is “Glorifying God by Building Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World.” Through evangelism and discipleship, we passionately reach students with the gospel and train them to be mature Christians with a commitment to the Great Commission. Our desire is to see students leave college equipped for the work of ministry and ready to labor in the harvest fields for the glory of God!
