Our Story:
Thomas: My dad has had the biggest influence on my spiritual life, living out a vibrant, compelling, and real relationship with Christ for as long as I can remember. I once picked up his journal when I was in middle school and read his prayers for our family; as I read I began to realize that everything that my parents told my sister and I about their faith went a lot deeper than just praying before meals and taking us to Church on Sunday mornings. Following God’s leading and my parents’ example, I made the most important decision of my life when I was 13. I had several opportunities to grow spiritually through our Church in high school and upon moving into Presbyterian College, met several guys who would have a profound and incredibly positive impact on my relationship with God…not to mention meeting the love of my life Sarah.

Sarah: I began a relationship with Christ in early high school. I built a great relationship with my mentor through the confirmation class at Church when I was in middle school. She started a Bible study with a group of us from the class that played a huge role in my life. Week in and week out, she explained and lived what it means to be a true follower of Jesus and through that I came to a relationship with Jesus. As I began to understand the message of the Bible, I began a relationship with Jesus Christ. In 2003 I went to Presbyterian College where I got involved with Campus Outreach, went on a couple of summer beach projects, and met and fell in love with Thomas while he followed me around in the library acting like he was studying. I love our calling of helping college students know Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.

Our hobbies:
Thomas: fly fishing, tying flies, photography, remodeling our house
Sarah: decorating, antiquing, and baking.

Our favorites:
Thomas: My beautiful wife, a good cup of coffee, trout streams
Sarah: the beach, coffee shops

Thomas: I have Juvenile Diabetes
